Regulatory & Tax Compliance
- Sole Traders: Making Tax Digital (MTD) becomes mandatory starting 6 April 2026 for those with income over £50,000.
- Employers: New National Minimum Wage rates are in effect, including £12.71 for ages 21+. Additionally, Statutory Sick Pay and parental leave rights now apply from the first day of employment.
- Companies: Identity verification for company directors became mandatory as of November 2025 and is required to file confirmation statements.
